Dave, John and the New Big Band!

John Tegler and Wings Productions is proud to present the Dave Tucker-John Blount Big Band on Friday, September 11th, 2009, at the Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis, MD. The concert, titled "A tribute to Buddy Rich and his Music" will showcase the ability and talent of Dave as he, John Blount, and the New Big Band perform some of Buddy Rich's most famous tunes! If you're a fan of big band jazz, you'll be blown away by the sound and talent from the New Big Band! We hope to see you in Annapolis on September 11th!

Can't make it on September 11th? Then pencil in Friday, November 6th, 2009 at 8:00 P.M. as Dave, John and the New Big Band will be performing "A tribute to Harry James and his music with special guest vocalist Sue Matthews." Additional information will be posted on this event soon!

Join Dave at the Blue Ridge Jazz Festival  on Friday, April 24th, 9:00 P.M. at Smithburg High School. For tickets, please call 301-766-8337 and ask for the Band Room. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for students and children.

Join Dave on Saturday, February 14th as he performs with Cyndy Cash in a Memorial Concert for the late Pianist Bob Fields. The performance will take place at 2:00 P.M. at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at the University of Maryland, College Park.

On October 30th, 2008, the band will be performing at the Central Tennessee Arts Festival.

On Friday, December 5th, at 9:00 P.M., the band will be performing "A Big Band Jazz Christmas" featuring singer Sue Matthews at the Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis, MD. The band will be performing swinging Christmas charts and cuts from our recent CD, "Better Days Ahead."
